Day 13 Kennebunkport and Cape Porpoise

Dinner!

Started the day with crystal clear blue skies and spent the morning visiting antique shops in the town of Wells, right next to Kennebunkport and had some delicious clam chowder at Mike's Clam Shack.

Drove out to Cape Porpoise and Pier 77 and took some pictures.  So many great looking homes all over the place.  It's fun just to drive around and look at them.

Came back to Kennebunkport and visited a few more local shops and couldn't pass up the Monday night special at Alisson's (same place we ate last night).  Not only did dinner come with that lobster, it included a salad or clam chowder for starters, cole slaw, and a bucket of french fries (seen at top edge of the picture).  Homemade carrot cake was included for dessert--a LARGE piece.  We brought mine home for David to eat for his midnight snack!!!

I'd say I don't need to eat again for a week, but this place had a great breakfast spread in the mornings including homemade muffins and homemade granola, both of which are delicious, sooooooo until morning at least, I won't be eating again.  On to Boston tomorrow!
