A great day today! The drive was beautiful--just picture perfect. I love Iowa, really, really pretty. Just as I imagined it would be. The peak of the fall foliage was about 8 days ago, but it is still really beautiful.
Our condo is amazing and the location is great. Got here about 12:30 today so we spent the afternoon at a large antique place and then a little time in the historic part of Galena. Went to a great wine shop and did a little wine tasting (and purchasing!) and ate a late lunch upstairs.
Supposed to rain tomorrow but the historic part of the town has about 50 shops and business to check out so we'll have lots of places to go to stay dry!
Our condo here is wonderful. A jacuzzi in the bathroom and a double sided fireplace between the living room and the master bedroom. Pics of Galena tomorrow.
